Refreshing the Brand and Crafting a Clear Journey

Caravan Digital, a digital marketing agency focused on guiding businesses through the complexities of the online landscape, needed a brand refresh and a website overhaul. Their existing brand lacked clarity and their website didn't effectively communicate their expertise or attract their ideal clientele. As a UX Designer & Brand Designer, I led the complete transformation of their brand identity and digital presence, aiming to create a cohesive, trustworthy, and user-centric experience.

Position Caravan Digital as the premier source for marketing by updating their brand identity, defining their user experience, and conveying their trust and authority.

OUTCOME

The Caravan Digital rebrand and website redesign successfully transformed their online presence, creating a clear, trustworthy, and user-centric experience.

Brand Discovery & Strategy

 

While Caravan Digital had an existing brand, Eagan, the owner, wanted a refresh. We sat down together and talked about what Caravan Digital is to him, who it’s looking to serve, and what the future state of the company was. We also uncovered the brand descriptors to help ground the brand identity.

 
 
 

The first thing we wanted to focus on was designing a new brand identity. With the information gathered in the brand discovery session, I developed several logo concepts that best represented the agency’s guiding and forward-thinking approach.

I developed the color palette, typography, and additional visual elements to flesh out the professional brand and position them as an established agency.

A large effort was made to developed a clear and intuitive site map to ensure easy navigation and logical content organization.

Since this was a faster effort, we didn’t have the time to do extensive user research to create the new site. Instead, we used heat maps, current website analytics, and best practices to help shape the design.

After we understood what content needed to be on the home page, I developed high-fidelity prototypes to test user flows and iterate on the feedback.

By aligning their brand identity with a user-focused website, Caravan Digital is now better positioned to attract their ideal clients and showcase their expertise in the digital marketing landscape. This project demonstrated my ability to lead both the brand and user experience design processes to achieve impactful results.
