A User Experience Worth Its Weight In Gold

Global Coin, a precious metals company, sought to establish a powerful and resonant brand presence. They needed to articulate their vision, values, and offerings in a way that would inspire confidence, attract a sophisticated audience, and position them as a leader in their space. As UX Designer, Brand Designer, and Creative Director, I led the comprehensive development of their brand identity and digital experience, ensuring a cohesive, innovative, and user-centric approach.

CHALLENGE

Global Coin needed heavy visual direction to position them as a leader in their industry, as well as a comprehensive user experience to inspire trust with their users.

OUTCOME

The Global Coin project successfully established a powerful and resonant brand presence, creating a future-forward identity and a user-centric digital experience.

Brand Strategy & Discovery

 

The owner, Stephen, wanted to create something high-end and more elevated from the rest of the players in the industry. Over the course of a two hour discovery session, I uncovered his vision for the company, the target audience, the competitive landscape, and his long-term goals.

 
 
 

A new brand identity was needed to help position Global Coin as a leader in its space, as well as creating a cohesive brand image for the user.

I designed a new logo to be used across both digital and print. With knowledge from the brand strategy session, I created a brand stylescape to help visualize the brand as a whole.

I established a visual language that included a sophisticated color palette, contemporary typography, and a set of graphic elements that reinforced the brand's identity. We were now set to build on top of this foundation.

We started the UX journey with existing user research, as well as surveys and heat maps.

I designed clear and intuitive information architecture to facilitate seamless navigation across all platforms.

User journey maps were created to ensure the user felt supported at each touchpoint.
